Best Omaha Steaks
The Drover
2121 South 73rd Street Omaha, NE 68124
402. 391. 7440 // Yelp Reviews
My brother, Tanner sayshands down, best steak in Omaha. Featured on Man vs. Food and in Rachel Ray magazine. Best whiskey steaks in 6 state area and currently rated the best in Omaha. If you go, you'll feel like you are walking into a massive midwest wine cellar in the 1960's. Dark and old but worth it.
Piccolo's
2202 South 20th Street Omaha, NE 68108
402.342.9038 // Yelp Reviews
Great old-school family italian-style steakhouse. Old neighborhood and nothing fancy. For about $30, you'll get a pretty darn good steak PLUS soup, salad, pasta, AND choice of potato. Lots of bang for your buck. This is Warren Buffet's favorite restaurant. We recommend the Prime Rib. However, if you want to be like Buffet, order the veal parm or chicken parm with mostaccioli and hash browns.
Anthony's
72nd & F Street Omaha, NE 68127
402. 331. 7575 // Yelp Reviews
This is my Bapa's favorite place to go when he is hungry - really good steak and homemade sauces and pasta. Another Omaha favorite. Been around for 50 years and an Omaha staple. Recently remodeled. Really good prime rib. About a 10 minute drive from the Old Market.
801 Chophouse
1403 Farnam Street Omaha, NE 68102
402. 341. 1222 // Yelp Reviews
Definitely an Omaha favorite and close to the hotel. A bit more upscale and think lots of butter. Some of the best "prime beef/rib" joints in Omaha. If you go on Sunday, ask for the prix fix menu - only $33 or so a person and you'll get an appetizer, entree, and dessert.
Mahogany Prime
13665 California Street Omaha, NE 68154
402. 445. 4380 // Yelp Reviews
My Uncle Denny and Aunt Katie will be the first ones to tell you this is the place to go. Very pricey and about a fifteen minute drive from the hotel, but some of the best food and best bone in steaks in Omaha (the sides are just as good). Super high quality, really nice ambience, great wine, and wonderful service. You won't go wrong here.

Another top favorite place to go. Great cocktails, awesome sushi, and just plane cool place to go. Always celebrated my birthday here. Hotel California rolls are to die for and are the reason I ever began eating sushi, haha! Don't leave without getting the Crunchy Blue either. Great for lunch or dinner!
Stokes Grill & Bar

Just down the road from the hotel as well - fun and low key tex-mex. Took Thom here when he first came to town so he could try the famous "Sharon's enchiladas"everyone preaches about and I could get my favorite, corn chowder soup. :) Karin claims they have the best bananas foster if you are so inclined. Yummy drinks to boot!
Ted and Wally's Ice Cream
1120 Jackson Street Omaha, NE 68102
402.341.5827 // Yelp Reviews
A must have! Homemade old-fashioned local ice cream shop that is almost considered a landmark. Only a 5 minute walk from the hotel so I hope you all make it there one night or another. The menu is always changing with fun new flavors. I remember going here since before I could walk. There might be a line out the door, but don't let that hold you back! I promise it is worth it!
